The Nigeria Football Federation has appointed former Under 17 World Cup Winner, Manu Garba as the Coach of the Golden Eaglets.

Garba, who previously led the Golden Eaglets to victory in the FIFA U17 World Cup in 2013, brings a wealth of experience and success to his new role. Under his leadership, Nigeria clinched its fourth U17 World Cup title in the United Arab Emirates, showcasing the nation’s prowess in youth football. The 2013 squad, which featured players like Kelechi Iheanacho, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Isaac Success delivered an impressive performance throughout the tournament. Despite a setback at the African U17 Championship in Morocco, the team bounced back with remarkable victories, including a memorable 6-1 triumph over Mexico in the opening game.
