English Premier League Club, Manchester City are edging closer to securing the signing of Egyptian and Eintracht Frankfurt forward, Omar Marmoush.

According to reports, a verbal agreement has been reached between the two clubs, although the transfer has yet to be finalized. The 25-year-old Egypt international has been in excellent form, scoring 15 Bundesliga goals this season. Marmoush joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer from Wolfsburg in 2023.

City are also set to finalize the signing of Brazilian teenage defender Vitor Reis. The Palmeiras starlet is flying to Manchester for a medical ahead of completing his move.

Meanwhile, the club remains interested in Juventus left-back Andrea Cambiaso. However, City sources have indicated that negotiations are not as advanced as some reports in Italy suggest, and there is no certainty the transfer will be completed this month. Cambiaso, 24, joined Juventus from Genoa in 2022 and has contributed two goals and two assists in 25 appearances this season.

The Premier League champions are also waiting to confirm the signing of Uzbekistan defender Abdukodir Khusanov. City have reportedly agreed on a £33.6m fee with Lens for the 20-year-old, but an official announcement has yet to be made.
