A devastating incident occurred on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya, where a 14-year-old girl was tragically killed by a lion.

The attack happened when the girl was snatched from a residential compound near Nairobi National Park, prompting an immediate response from Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) rangers.

They followed tracks to the nearby Mbagathi River, where they found the primary school girl’s remains.

Despite efforts to locate the lion, it remains elusive, and KWS has deployed search teams and set traps to capture the animal.

The incident has raised concerns about safety measures and wildlife management near the park.
