The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted a commercial vehicle transporting 942 explosives concealed in a sack along the Kaduna-Zaria Expressway.
The explosives were hidden in a bus traveling from Nasarawa to Zamfara State, and a 30-year-old suspect, Nura Sani Muhammad, was arrested in connection with the seizure.
The NDLEA operatives discovered the explosives on Saturday, May 3, as part of a series of coordinated operations across multiple states.
The agency has been working to dismantle drug syndicates and arrest high-profile suspects, including a wanted drug kingpin.
This seizure is part of a larger effort by the NDLEA to combat crime and ensure national security.
The agency’s operations have resulted in several notable arrests and seizures in recent days, including the interception of large quantities of Tramadol and other opioids.
