Popular plus-size model and content creator Monalisa Stephen, also known as Gabacci, has died after losing her fight against low blood sugar and intestinal haemorrhage in Lagos.
Her death was confirmed by Seun Oloketuyi, founder of Best of Nollywood, via Instagram, where he shared a photo of the late actress.
Stephen rose to prominence for championing self-love and body positivity amongst plus-size women and featured in movies like “Mami Wata” and “Breaded Life”, as well as numerous comedy skits.
The news of her death has sparked widespread grief among her fans.
