Eunisell, West Africa’s leading specialty chemicals and oilfield solutions company, will present Nasarawa United striker Anas Yusuf with the prestigious Eunisell Boot Award after he finished as the top scorer of the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season with 18 goals.

The award ceremony is scheduled for Friday at the Radisson Blu Hotel in GRA Ikeja, Lagos, where Yusuf will receive a cash prize of N3.6 million — calculated at N200,000 per goal — in line with the Eunisell Boot’s established reward structure.

Now in its seventh year, the Eunisell Boot has grown into one of Nigerian football’s most coveted individual honours, celebrating the league’s most prolific forwards and reinforcing corporate backing for local talent.

“At Eunisell, we believe in excellence and performance — the core of our brand,” said Chika Ikenga, Group Managing Director of Eunisell. “The Eunisell Boot is more than an award; it represents our ongoing commitment to rewarding hard work and advancing Nigerian football. Anas Yusuf’s 18 goals this season show what’s possible when talent meets opportunity.”

Yusuf’s outstanding campaign has earned him widespread praise and national attention, making him the second Nasarawa United player to win the award after Sunusi Ibrahim in 2019. His sharp finishing and consistency helped elevate his club’s performance and drew admiration from fans and analysts alike.

Since launching in 2018, the Eunisell Boot has celebrated standout strikers such as Junior Lokosa (2018 – Kano Pillars), Sunusi Ibrahim and Mfon Udoh (2019 – Nasarawa United and Enyimba), Israel Abia (2020 – Rangers), and Chijioke Akuneto (2022 – Rivers United).

This year’s edition also marks a milestone, as Eunisell celebrates 10 years of continuous support for Nigerian football. Beyond the Boot award, the company sponsors Abia Warriors FC, further demonstrating its commitment to developing the sport from grassroots to professional levels.

“This year’s ceremony will be about more than celebrating one player,” Ikenga added. “It’s a milestone in our journey of using sports to inspire, invest in, and transform lives.”
