The Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress in Taraba State have declared an indefinite strike starting August 11, 2025, in response to alleged irregularities by the state’s Biometric Data Capture Committee.

Labour leaders claim these irregularities have adversely affected workers and accuse the committee of engaging in illegal practices.
