A train and a bus collided on a railway crossing in central Kenya, killing at least four people and injuring others.
The Kenya Pipeline Company, whose bus was involved in the accident, said it was carrying staff finishing their morning shift at a training centre near the town of Naivasha.
The company evacuated all injured staff to hospitals in Naivasha for medical attention and planned to organize airlifts for those critically injured.
A Red Cross worker at the scene confirmed the recovery of four bodies from the wreckage.
The exact number of casualties is yet to be confirmed, with reports varying from four to six fatalities.
The Kenya Pipeline Company has expressed its commitment to providing support to those affected by the accident.
