A family member confirmed his death, stating that burial arrangements would be announced in due course.

Ewuga’s illustrious career spanned decades, with notable roles including representing Nasarawa North in the 7th Senate and serving as FCT Minister under President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration.

He was a respected figure in Nasarawa State politics and had recently joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in December 2023 after defecting from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Despite facing personal tragedies, including the death of his daughter in a plane crash and a traumatic kidnapping ordeal in 2021 that left him with lasting injuries, Ewuga remained committed to public service.

His legacy as a role-model politician and elder statesman continues to inspire many.
