Alex Oyowah struck the decisive goal in the 74th minute, finishing calmly to quiet the Stade de Moroni and cap a composed performance from the Nigerians.
The Sky Blue Stars had already built a commanding lead from the first leg in Ikenne, where Lamine Ndenge, Ebuka Anthony, Adams Goïta, and Seun Olasupo found the net. With a four-goal cushion, coach Daniel Ogunmodede’s men managed the return fixture with patience and discipline.
Though the hosts pressed to inspire their home fans, Remo’s defensive organisation limited their opportunities. As the match wore on, the visitors grew in control, with Oyowah’s late effort confirming their progression.
