US President Donald Trump will host the leaders of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo on Thursday to sign a peace agreement, aiming to end decades of conflict in the region.

The deal, brokered by the US, was initially signed by the countries’ foreign ministers in June and builds upon an economic framework agreed upon in November.
