The attackers, who arrived in a blue Micra vehicle, forcibly seized Oriade and whisked him away.

The Oyo State chapter of the APC has confirmed the incident and called for the immediate intervention of the Nigeria Police Force to rescue Oriade.

Former Senate Leader Teslim Folarin has condemned the kidnapping, describing it as shocking and unacceptable, and urged security agencies to intensify efforts to ensure Oriade’s safe rescue.
