The Fusengbuwa Ruling House in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, has rejected the lineage claim submitted by musician Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1, declaring his completed linkage form invalid. KWAM 1 had expressed interest in becoming the Awujale of Ijebuland, claiming to be a bona fide son of the Oba Jadiara lineage.
However, the ruling house found no proof of his membership in the Jadiara Royal House or the Fusengbuwa Ruling House.
The ruling house questioned the certification process, noting that the form was endorsed before it was signed by KWAM 1, and the individual who certified the form, Omoba Adetayo Abayomi Oduneye Eruobodo, is not a registered member of the Jadiara Royal House. As a result, the form was declared null and void.
