Former Attorney-General Abubakar Malami has demanded the EFCC Chairman’s recusal from his ongoing investigation, citing bias and personal vendetta linked to his defection to the
African Democratic Congress. Malami alleges the EFCC’s actions are driven by historical animosity, pointing to the Justice Ayo Salami Judicial Commission report, where Chairman Ola Olukoyede served as Secretary and contained adverse findings against him.
He demands immediate arraignment or release within 24 hours, citing constitutional provisions, and urges another agency to handle the case to restore credibility.
