According to the NPA, the vessels are offloading goods at the Apapa Port, Lekki Port, and Tin Can Island Port.

The cargo being discharged includes aviation fuel, petrol, diesel, bulk gas, cargo trucks, bulk wheat, and general cargo. Other items being offloaded are bulk alkaline, bulk sugar, fresh fish, soya bean oil, bulk clinker, and containerised goods.

The authority also disclosed that 41 additional ships carrying petroleum products, food supplies, and other commodities are expected to arrive at the Lagos ports between February 28 and March 7. These vessels are scheduled to deliver cargo such as crude oil, fertiliser, salt, containers, petrol, and other general goods.

Meanwhile, the NPA noted that 17 ships have already arrived and are awaiting berthing. These vessels are laden with bulk urea, diesel, aviation fuel, crude oil, ethanol, bulk wheat, general cargo, and bulk pallets.

The update highlights ongoing activities at the Lagos ports, underscoring their critical role in handling petroleum products and essential imports into the country.
