South Africa’s Minister of Sports, Gayton McKenzie, has confirmed that Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology will be introduced in the country’s top-flight league next season.

McKenzie disclosed this while outlining measures aimed at improving officiating standards and boosting the credibility of domestic football competitions.
