According to a statement issued on Friday by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mustapha Muhammad, the projects are part of efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance economic activities in the state.

Speaking at the event, the First Lady emphasised the importance of road infrastructure in driving development.

“Quality roads remain essential for easier movement of people and goods, improved security access, and stronger state and national economies,” she said.

She also called for sustained collaboration among the federal, state and local governments to ensure that more communities benefit from impactful projects.

In his remarks, Yusuf described the visit as a testament to the partnership required to achieve development goals, noting that his administration remained committed to supporting initiatives that promote growth and modernisation.
