Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has resigned from the African Democratic Congress.
In a statement released Monday, Lawal said he was leaving the party after what he called “massively rigged” primaries. He accused the ADC of stacking the process in favour of ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar and his allies.
The party hasn’t responded yet. More details expected as the story develops.
