The federal government brought oil and gas players together on Monday to talk about making petroleum prices fairer for Nigerians.
The meeting happened at the headquarters of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority in Abuja.
At the table were key industry names: Dangote Refinery, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, and the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria.
Officials said the discussion focused on pricing strategies that will keep costs reasonable across the country while ensuring supply remains stable.
The talks come as the Director-General of NIPSS projected that petrol prices could fall to N750 per litre before the end of 2026.
