Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, lost both of his anointed candidates in the All Progressives Congress primaries for the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The Lagos APC has released its list of successful candidates for the LSHA and House of Representatives, following the conclusion of the primaries. Some candidates backed by members of the Governance Advisory Council also failed to secure tickets.
In Agege, Sakiru Enimakure emerged as the APC candidate for the House of Assembly constituency, defeating Obasa’s preferred aspirants.
The list also showed no female candidates emerged for the House of Representatives seats in the state under the APC.
